Put a used multipurpose camera unit or millimeter wave radar in a Honda and the pair comes back not matched. Ship us both units, we match them to each other, and they go back out the next business day.

ADAS calibration is not included and is required

This service matches your camera and radar to each other. It does not calibrate them to your vehicle. After you reinstall the parts, your Honda will still require a professional ADAS calibration — radar aim and forward camera calibration — at a qualified shop. Budget for that separately.

Skipping the calibration means Honda Sensing may behave unpredictably or not function at all. That is a safety issue, not a convenience issue.

The two units we match

Honda Sensing multipurpose camera unit on the left and millimeter wave radar on the right
Left: multipurpose camera unit (windshield). Right: millimeter wave radar (front bumper / grille). Both have to ship together.

Is this your problem?

  • You installed a used Honda Sensing camera, a used radar, or both
  • Your scan tool prints a camera radar unmatch code: U1387-4A, U1387-55, B2A60-57 or U3000-55
  • The tool reports the pair as not matched
  • Honda Sensing warning lights are on — CMBS, ACC, LKAS, road departure
  • The dealer quoted you thousands for new parts

What does not fix a camera radar unmatch

  • Clearing the codes with a scan tool — they come straight back
  • Disconnecting the battery
  • Trying a different used camera or a different used radar
  • A windshield or camera calibration on its own

The camera and the radar have to agree with each other. Until they do, the codes come back on the next drive cycle no matter how many times you clear them.

What to ship and how to pack it

  1. Send both units together — the multipurpose camera unit and the millimeter wave radar. One on its own can't be matched.
  2. Wrap each unit in an anti-static bag or foil, then pad all six sides.
  3. Use a double-walled box. No padded envelopes.
  4. Include your order number and a short note listing the codes your scan tool is printing.
  5. Ship tracked and insured to our Allentown, PA bench.
