Body Control Module Repair

Random electrical gremlins, dead locks, lights stuck on, parasitic battery drain — almost all of it traces back to the BCM. We rebuild it at component level.

The BCM controls almost every body-electrical circuit in the car: headlights, taillights, interior lights, door locks, windows, wipers, horn, and CAN gateway. When its driver ICs fail, the symptoms look random — but they almost always trace back to one or two failed output drivers or a cooked CAN transceiver.

We replace the failed components, restore the original coding, and bench-test on a CAN simulator before the unit ships back.

Common symptoms

  • Random electrical gremlins that change day to day
  • Door locks, windows, or wipers stop working
  • Lights stuck on or won't turn on
  • Parasitic battery drain overnight
  • Lost CAN communication / multiple modules dropping off
  • Remote / key fob stops working with no fault on the fob

FAQ

Will my key fobs need to be re-paired?

No. The original coding stays with the BCM, so your fobs continue to work without any re-programming.

Can a failing BCM kill my battery?

Yes — a cooked output driver or stuck relay coil can pull 50–500mA continuously, draining a healthy battery overnight. Repairing the BCM is usually cheaper than chasing the drain with a meter.
