Every repair we ship out is covered by a 1-year warranty. If we can't fix it, you don't pay. Here's exactly how it works.
1-Year Repair Warranty
12 months from the date of installation, parts and labor.
If the same failure recurs within 12 months of you installing your repaired module, we'll re-repair or replace it free of charge, including return shipping.
What's covered
- The specific fault we repaired (e.g., if we replaced solder joints and they fail again)
- Components we touched or replaced during the repair
- Return shipping if a warranty repair is required
What's not covered
- Damage from improper installation, water intrusion, voltage spikes, or jump-starting
- Unrelated failures of components we did not service
- Physical damage caused after the module left our bench
- Damage from continuing to operate the vehicle with a known wiring fault
To file a warranty claim, email repairs@tmwrepairs.com with your original order number and a description of the issue.
No-Fix, No-Charge
If we can't repair it, you don't pay.
We bench-test every module before and after repair. If your module is beyond economical repair — for example, a custom ASIC failure with no replacement available, or physical PCB damage too severe to rework — we'll:
- Email you with what we found
- Refund 100% of your repair payment within 3 business days
- Return your original module free of charge
You only ever pay for repairs that work. Diagnostic time is on us.
Turnaround Time
Most repairs ship back within 24–48 hours of arrival.
Standard turnaround is 24–48 business hours from when your module arrives at our bench. Modules requiring programming or sourced parts may add 1–2 business days; we'll notify you if that applies to your order.
Round-trip including your inbound shipping is typically 5–7 business days. You can track your repair live at every stage.
Return Shipping
Free FedEx 2-Day on orders over $100. Otherwise USPS Priority.
We cover return shipping at no extra cost on every repair order over $100. Orders under $100 ship back via USPS Priority Mail.
Inbound shipping is your responsibility. We strongly recommend a tracked, insured service — we are not liable for modules lost or damaged before they reach our facility.
Damage in Transit
What happens if the box arrives damaged.
We photograph any damaged outer packaging at the moment of arrival and email you immediately. Carrier damage claims are between you and your shipping company — this is why we insist on tracked, insured service for inbound shipments.
If your module is damaged in transit on the return trip back to you, contact us within 5 days of delivery — we'll handle the claim with our carrier on your behalf.
Refund Policy
Refunds are issued when a repair cannot be completed.
All repair sales are final once the repair is complete and the module ships. Refunds are issued only when:
- We determine the module is unrepairable (full refund, see No-Fix-No-Charge above)
- You cancel an order before we begin work (full refund)
- A warranty claim cannot be re-repaired and no replacement is available (full refund)
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3 business days of approval.
